FAQS
What is included in the complimentary survey?
The complementary survey consists of a visual walk around of your property assessing the condition of the building envelope, noting any damage, concerns, and remaining life of the roof, siding, windows, decks, railings, and an inspection of the building’s mechanicals and HVAC system.
What handyman work is offered?
For established clients, Mark will often personally perform smaller repairs and projects. Yes, he still likes to build.
When would I engage you for insurance loss representation?
Always best as soon as the damage occurs. It can be overwhelming and with experienced guidance, we will ensure all aspects are handled properly and insurance requirements are met. Most importantly, the scope of the damage is established as soon as possible and the insurance reserve reflects such.
Do you offer different levels of property management?
Yes, some clients have cameras and alarms if something goes awry but still require real eyes on the property periodically. Some clients prefer regular personal inspections and management of tradespeople and vendors. We accommodate your needs and preferences.
What steps are taken when a storm hits?
Pre-storm inspection makes sure windows and doors (including storm doors) are secure as well as grills, deck umbrellas, and the like. Heat and electricity monitoring and a plan in place if utilities are interrupted. Post-storm personal exterior/interior inspection for damage and coordinating any necessary repairs and mitigation.
